£50,879.44 per annum plus Essential Car User Allowance

Hours:
37 hours per week, permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for a Neighbourhoods Manager to join our Homes Plus, Neighbourhoods team on a full time, permanent basis.

We are looking for a dedicated professional to bring our values to life and ensure our customers receive outstanding services.

The role

As our Neighbourhoods Manager, you will be responsible for managing our neighbourhoods service in all aspects of tenancy and estate management, including tackling Anti-Social Behaviour and supporting our most vulnerable residents. You will have a key role in preparing for the exciting changes in the sector, including consumer standards. You’ll also take the lead in developing the service across our communities to ensure they are safe, green and clean.

Being customer driven, you will manage your teams and resources effectively to improve the customer experience, demonstrate value for money and deliver meaningful outcomes for everyone who lives in our communities. Working collaboratively with colleagues across the business you will support the team to improve tenancy sustainment and customer satisfaction. You will need to have experience of working in partnership with key external and internal stakeholders to deliver services successfully.

You are required to travel across Staffordshire and Shropshire in this role and therefore a Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle for business use is essential.

What skills and experience we are looking for:

  • CIH Level 3 Certificate in Housing Practice or equivalent experience (Desirable)
  • Professional qualification in housing and relevant supervisory or management responsibility or equivalent experience.
  • Confident, capable communicator with the ability to solve problems effectively.
  • Operational management experience of Neighbourhoods
  • Able to inspire and engage others.
  • A natural people-person and team player, with an appetite for learning.
  • Unfazed by having several competing priorities to manage.
  • Passionate, experienced and knowledgeable about housing services and have a good understanding of the challenges facing the sector.
  • Have an understanding of safeguarding customers and those with vulnerabilities
  • Effective financial planning and budget management skills
  • Experience of shaping, implementing and delivering policy, procedure and processes
  • Ability to promote a strong customer focus in service delivery
