We have an exciting opportunity for a
Building Safety Manager to join our in-house Compliance Team (Property Services) to oversee the delivery of hard & soft services, building management and compliance programmes to assigned Retirement Living locations within the HPG portfolio.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in contributing to the delivery and development of our overall business objectives while upholding our group values.
The role
The role of a Building Safety Manager is to coordinate the compliance program of buildings across the portfolio while also ensuring that any alarms, fire equipment, appliance testing and passive fire safety features are in accordance with the regulations. Fire management systems, including security arrangements and evacuation, must be implemented, and coordinated.
What skills and experience we are looking for:
IWFM qualification or similar FM experience related qualification
Holder of Nebosh General certificate in H&S at work or equivalent
Detailed knowledge of ACOP L8 - Legionnaires' disease. The control of legionella bacteria in water systems and experience of implementing and managing control policies, procedures and process to conform to the ACOP.
Experience of working risk and compliance environment.
Previous experience of fire compliance, fire management or fire safety auditing/inspecting, along with appropriate qualifications, would be advantageous
