We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Painter and Decorator to join our in-house Maintenance Team, Property Plus.

The Role

As a Painter and Decorator in the Planned Team, you will carry out external and internal painting work and ensure that work is carried out in accordance with all Health and Safety at Work regulations and codes of practice. You will be expected to carry out duties of a physical nature and work alone, at heights and off site in tenants homes. You will build and maintain professional relationships with our tenants and ensure that the work you deliver to the Group's properties is to the highest quality.

Skills and experience required:

  • A NVQ or City and Guilds Qualification in the relevant trade is essential
  • Experience within a housing repairs and maintenance environment
  • Experience of carrying out responsive and planned repair work
  • Ability to demonstrate evidence of experience in general repair work and be able to meet varied target dates
  • Experience of health and safety best practice and procedures
  • Outstanding customer care skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
