We currently have a great opportunity for a
ReConnected Project Coordinator to join our Retirement Living team at Acton Gate on a full-time, fixed term contract or secondment basis for a period of six months.
The Role
The ReConnected Project Coordinator will play a vital role in reconnecting vulnerable members with their communities and deliver people-led activities to build and strengthen local communities. We’re looking for a dedicated professional to bring our values to life and ensure our customers receive outstanding services.
During the six-month contract, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of the ReConnected project across eight different locations across Stafford & South Staffordshire. You will recruit, train and support a team of volunteers to deliver the ReConnected project and support and enable volunteers to organise, develop and deliver community based activities and engagement opportunities.
This is an exciting role for the ReConnected Project Coordinator to engage with local residents, manage effectively working relationships, encourage customers to establish and maintain settled and inclusive lifestyles and ensure that all activities undertaken are carried out to the highest standards and professionalism and align to the Group’s vision and vales.
This is a role that will give you a sense of achievement and pride as you help to strengthen or create local community led engagement opportunities, supporting a more cohesive, friendly and safer place to live.
Skills and experience required:
Experience of working with vulnerable people from a wide range of backgrounds
Ability to work alone and manage own workload
Experience of line management
Experience of facilitating group activities
Educated to a minimum of GCSE standard or equivalent
Demonstrate an understanding of risk assessment, support planning and outcome reporting
Experience of managing budgets
Be able to plan effectively and use problem solving and decision making skills
Communicate regularly and openly at all levels, both written and oral Experience of using IT (including Microsoft Office)
Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle
