We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Customer Services Officer to join our successful in-house Homes Plus Customer Services team on a full time, permanent basis. We’re looking for a dedicated professional to bring our values to life and ensure our customers receive outstanding services.

The role

The Senior Customer Services Officer will assist the Team Leader with the daily management of the Customer Services Team, providing support to staff on operational issues. The role involves delivering an efficient, effective, and high-quality service to customers through various communication platforms. Additionally, the role includes helping the Team Leader identify barriers and areas for improvement to aid Customer Service Officers in resolving customer enquiries..

What skills and experience we are looking for:

  • Experience of working within a demanding Customer Service Team
  • Experience of supporting and training peers
  • Basic technical knowledge of housing and repairs
  • Experience of call handling
  • Good IT skills, including Word and Excel, with the aptitude to learn more.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication.
  • A problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to handle sensitive enquiries and difficult conversations with diplomacy.
  • Ability to work with staff from other departments and negotiate on effective ways of working to provide the best solution for a customer
  • Ability to moticvate and influence peers
