We currently have a great opportunity for a
Responsive Care Officer to join our Care Plus team Vine Court, Cannock on a part-time, permanent basis.
The Responsive Care Officer will support and monitor the delivery of care and support services within the scheme. We’re looking for a dedicated professional to bring our values to life and ensure our customers receive outstanding services.
The Role
As a Responsive Care Officer, you will work closely with the Care Co-ordinator to build relationships with social workers and be responsible for providing leadership, advise and guidance for care staff.
You will ensure that the service delivered to our service users promotes the independence, dignity, right and choices of the people we support. You will be the main point of contact at the scheme during evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, and provide excellent customer service experience to our resident, visitors and stakeholders.
You will be a role model in the direct delivery of care and support, promote and encourage compliance within company policies and ensure that care is delivered in accordance with the CQC regularly framework.
Skills and experience required:
NVQ3 in Care or Equivalent (d)
Ability to make timely, informed decisions and actively resolve challenges taking into account the facts, goals and risks of any decision
Ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines
Previous experience in providing a quality care service for people
A commitment to delivering quality care to vulnerable adults
Experience in delivering great customer service
Excellent verbal, written and face-to-face communication skills
Ability to promote cooperation and commitment within a team
A caring attitude with desire to help and support others, and a commitment to delivering quality care and customer service
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
A current full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work use
Due to the nature of this post, the role is subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure.
