We currently have a great opportunity for a Clean and Clearance Operative to join our Voids Team with Property Plus on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role:

As a Clean and Clearance Operative in the Voids Department, you will carry out high quality maintenance work to the Group’s properties and for external customers. Please note that this post does require the post-holder to carry out duties of a physical nature other than light lifting, which could include manual/extremely physical work and working at heights. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for clearing waste from properties, transporting material and equipments between sites, and supporting general repairs and cleaning tasks across voids and occupied properties. This role plays a key part in ensuring our properties are safe, clean and ready for use for our tenants.

Key responsibilities:

  • Remove household waste and debris from properties, garden and sheds.
  • Transport materials, tools and waste between sites, suppliers and disposals facilities.
  • Complete job records, environmental waste documentation and updates in a timely manner.
  • Perform equipment checks, routine maintenance and ensure proper of use of PPE and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with tenants and report any issues or additional work requirements to supervisors.
  • Work in accordance with all health and safety regulations.

    Skills and experience required:

  • Customer focused and a professional approach to tenant interactions.
  • Basic IT skills.
  • Ability to work without direct supervision.
  • Basic understanding of Health and Safety.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
