We’re looking for a compassionate and proactive Responsive Care Officer to join our successful Domiciliary Care Service at Corsers Court. This is a rewarding opportunity to support residents in a Retirement Living Plus setting — all care is delivered onsite, meaning no travel between customers.

What you'll do

  • Be the main point of contact during evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
  • Respond to emergency calls and carry out wellbeing checks
  • Support and monitor care delivery, ensuring dignity and independence
  • Maintain a safe, welcoming environment for residents

    What we're looking for

  • NVQ3 in care or equivalent (desirable)
  • Experience of delivering good customer service
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Willngess to work according to a rota, which includes weekends and bank holidays

    This role is a 28 hour per week position:
  • Week 1 – Tuesday and Wednesday 07:00-14:30; Thursday and Friday 14:30-22:00
  • Week 2 – Tuesday and Wednesday 07:00-14:30; Saturday and Sunday 14:30-22:00

    Care Plus Domiciliary Care is a CQC-regulated service and complies with all guidelines. Due to the nature of the role, an Enhanced DBS check will be required.
