We are committed to making a positive difference to the homes, lives and communities we serve and we currently have an exciting opportunity for an Estate Impact Officer to join the members of our Housing Services team. Your role will involve:

  • Deliver an effective, efficient and sensitive community safety service and to manage issues arising from, estate management, grounds maintenance and fire risk assessments/block inspections

  • Visit estates and blocks of flats regularly to tackle any issues such as fly-tipping, dog fouling, abandoned cars, graffiti and more

  • Keep a detailed record of everything found and the actions they have taken including liaising with customers so they remove items


  • This is an exciting post which will see the post holder become a key member of the Neighbourhood Team and is based in Shropshire.
    The post holder will work closely with the Neighbourhood Officers and our customers to make improvements on our estates and therefore needs to be proficient in providing advice and support.

    As part of our team, we want you to have:


    • Experience in and a good understanding of housing legislation and best practice regarding estate management, grounds maintenance and fire risk assessments/block inspections

    • A can do approach to daily work is needed, as you will be working alone in our community.

    • You will work in collaboration with external agencies, so great communication and IT skills are a must.

    • A Full UK Driving licence
