We are committed to making a positive difference to the homes, lives and communities we serve and we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Neighbourhood Officer to join the members of our in-house Neighbourhood Team.
You will be responsible for the provision of an effective, efficient and customer focussed neighbourhood management service across three landlords in Staffordshire and Shropshire.
You will ensure that performance standards and targets are achieved in relation to Tenancy and estate management, anti-social behaviour, safeguarding and to monitor and report on that performance.
You will be required to work across our Group offices within Stafford and Shropshire, therefore you will need a Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle to use for work purposes.
Job requirements…
- To identify and manage low level breaches of tenancy (including allegations of anti-social behaviour) promptly and efficiently and provide advice and guidance to tenants to ensure they maintain their tenancy in accordance with the tenancy agreement.
- To liaise with the Community Safety team to prevent low and medium cases escalating to high risk
- To work closely with local Councils, Police, support services and other external agencies to improve multi-agency working and effectively manage Anti-Social Behaviour, Safeguarding, Tenancy Management and Estate Management cases/issues
- To be proactive in identifying vulnerable groups or individuals and work with other agencies to provide appropriate support in order to maintain tenancies and reduce tenancy failure
