Kitchen Assistant Church Stretton Permanent, 21 hours per week £8.91 per hour The Sandford is a 35 bed home for the elderly, caring for a range of residential and nursing clients. Rated ‘Good’ by CQC and highly respected in the local community We are looking for someone who really cares about putting the PLUS into the lives of older people and who is determined to support our customers with compassion and empathy. We offer rewarding roles that come with excellent training and opportunities for personal development and we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Assistant to join the members of our Care Plus team. Your role will involve assisting with preparation of meals and snacks for residents within guidelines laid down by the Home manager and cook. Ensure the service delivered promotes the independence, dignity, rights and choices of the people that we work with. As part of our Care Plus team, we want you to have:

  • Food Safety level one or be willing to undertake
  • Experience of working with older people
  • Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise work schedule
  • To be fully COVID-19 Vaccinated or exempt
